Salary: $85,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, ideally within the Chiller Technology sector.
• A solid understanding of refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for factory visits, customer site visits, and training-related field visits.

Responsibilities:

• Engage daily with field sales teams, providing guidance on the application and installation of our Chiller Solutions equipment in HVAC systems.
• Offer advice on system applications, develop creative solutions for unique customer needs, and leverage competitor insights to gain an advantage.
• Contribute to the creation of tools and documentation to assist sales in the field and streamline responses to common inquiries.
• Utilize in-house engineering systems and documentation effectively to respond to product detail inquiries.
• Support sales personnel in addressing equipment, job, and code challenges.
• Communicate effectively and follow up with sales teams, design engineers, and product management to ensure customer requirements are comprehensively met.
• Obtain supplier quotes to inform cost and lead times for special product requests.
• Participate in product team meetings to strategize and implement business development initiatives.
• Create and deliver segments of sales training programs, including on-site training and travel to support specific training needs.
• Offer guidance and support to fellow Application Engineers, Product Marketing staff, Sales Engineers, and Sales Agents.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and competitors, market conditions, industry influences, and relevant technologies.

We are thrilled to present an incredible opportunity for a Senior Application Engineer to join our Applied Equipment Engineering team. We are looking for candidates preferably located in New Freedom, PA, or San Antonio, TX. You will play a critical role in enhancing the success of our Chiller Solutions business by supporting the sale of Chiller products through our HVAC System Branches and our sales/marketing teams in export markets.

Your expertise will primarily benefit branch office personnel by providing pre-sales technical support, addressing product application inquiries, producing special quotations, and facilitating order execution through collaboration with Order Management and Contract Engineering. Candidates not located within commuting distance to New Freedom, PA, or San Antonio, TX, should be open to relocation.

We offer a competitive hiring salary range of $85,000 - $110,000, which will be determined based on the candidates education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, location, and market alignment. This position also comes with a robust benefits package.
