About the Job:

Hill Country Fellowship Christian Academy is a faith-based preschool where children are loved, nurtured, and taught the foundational skills they need for kindergarten—academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Our goal is to help students grow in the love of Jesus while learning in a structured and caring environment.

We are located inside Hill Country Fellowship Church in Burnet, TX, and operate Monday through Friday from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM . Teacher schedules are full-time and fit within these operating hours.

What You’ll Do:

• Create a warm, safe, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
• Care for and supervise children in your assigned class.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Practice effective classroom management and guidance techniques.
• Follow Texas Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude every day.
• Partner with fellow teachers and staff to support each child’s growth.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old .
• Must have a high school diploma or GED .
• Must be physically able to walk, stand, bend, and occasionally run or lift when needed.
• Previous experience in early childhood education is a plus but not required.
• A heart for children and a love for Jesus is essential.
