Dairy Farm Feeder / Milker position immediately available on this north central Maryland family dairy farm.
Morning milkings Monday through Saturday morning 4:45 am until 8:30 am or chores are completed Evening milkings/feeding of lactating herd, pens of animals around barns and possibly calves- start 3 pm -- (3-5 hours depending if milking evening or feeding evening)Other chores may be needed at times- such as bedding animals, cleaning water troughs,putting out hay, etc Looking for one full time person or two part time employees with one being the morning shift and one being the evening shift Qualifications: Must be reliable, timely, have dependable transportation, and have experience working with dairy cattle as well as running a skidloader and farm equipment. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and have physical capabilities of shoveling, carrying and lifting Benefits: There is a 3 month probation period to determine if this will be a good fit for the employee and the employer.We need a reliable a spirited and caring nanny to help raise our 1-2 Years.
